Senior Account Executive

You are the right fit if you are a highly energetic and successful Senior Account Executive. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of closing / winning ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) deals in a small and growing company, as well as a consistent track record of achieving or exceeding your sales quota.  As Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible to engage, develop, manage and close net new logo acquisitions within your assigned territory.  You will craft and execute a comprehensive strategy for each target account that will enable new accounts wins and revenues.  You should be creative in finding ways to reach to the right stakeholders within the target accounts to promote Wysdom’s offerings and clearly articulate our value propositions, and manage the sales process end-to-end until contract signature and PO issuance.  Wysdom is committed to slowing climate change by removing our team's personal commute so has become a fully remote company and this position can be located anywhere in Canada.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will:

  • Be Wysdom’s focal point of contact with new target logos, at every stage of the sales engagement lifecycle.
  • Apply strategic thinking, analysis and insight abilities to create effective plans that lead to new logo acquisition.
  • Effective in leveraging enterprise selling methodologies for effective selling.
  • Communicate the benefits of Wysdom offerings at all levels, including to groups of cross-functional executives at your target accounts.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple cross-functional teams within Wysdom in order to design and implement effective business proposals, or to achieve set objectives.
  • Manage the sales process from pillar to post, including opportunity analysis, account discovery, technical and commercial proposals, proposition presentation, objection handling and offer negotiation, as well as pipeline management, sales forecasting, and contractual documentation.
  • Maintain well organized up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in our HubSpot CRM, or other systems as defined by Wysdom.
  • Assess and analyze a prospect's current procurement processes and requirements, using the BANT methodology.
  • Develop and analyze monitoring and evaluation data and track key performance indicators as a basis for measuring performance.
  • Meet personal and assigned targets and work towards Wysdom’s sales goals and profitability.
  • Create reports and presentations for senior management.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

  • Bachelor degree or above in an Engineering, Computer Science or Business field
  • Minimum of 8 years professional experience in a relevant sales / business / partner program management role
  • Proven track record of consultative selling of software and services to senior executives at large enterprises, specifically ARR deals from $500K+ and 3 to 6-month sales cycles
  • Possess thought-leadership in the digital domain, ideally in the Conversational AI space
  • Have a strong network of professionals in customer experience across one or more of the Telecommunications; Banking; Finance Services & Insurance (FSI); Retail; and Utilities industries
  • Demonstrate a career pattern of being able to quickly understand different technologies and an ability to advise complex organizations on how to deploy them effectively
  • Display extremely strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly adaptable, strong collaborator, but yet with analytical skills and a go-getter attitude
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Experienced in social selling including leveraging LinkedIn and other networks to reach critical contacts in the accounts you are focused on
  • Additional languages, especially French is a plus
